Math News - Our curriculum again this year, will again be Zearn. Our homework will (hopefully) be very light and when given will only be assigned on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. Each night is only worth only one point, so please do not let it stress you if you are having trouble. No worries at all. We will simply discuss it the next day and students will have an opportunity to record the answers from our discussion. Later these homework pages can be used as extra study pages. If 15-20 minutes are spent on homework and your child still does not understand, simply write, "We tried" or "Help!" and initial the page and he/she will be given credit. Homework should not be anything we stress about, it is only used for a few minutes of practice in the evening and to give parents a better understanding of what we are doing in class. Math tests will be announced as we conclude parts of each Mission in Zearn. Please remember to check agendas each night to be aware of important test dates and other announcements. I will also be utilizing ClassDoJo often to keep you informed of tests and other important information.
I know this is your child's last year as an elementary student and (sadly) it is going to fly by so fast!!
